DESCRIPTION:

This recipe is an interesting way to serve your jelly treats during holidays and parties. It’s also a fun treat to make for kids and adults alike, made best with Ferna high quality ingredients. 

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Mixing and Cooking Time: 2-3 minutes per flavor
Setting Time: 25 minutes
Yield: 6 orange wedges per flavor

INGREDIENTS:

For Mango Jelly:
1 pack or 90 grams               Ferna Jelly Gulaman Powder Unflavored
1 tsp or 5 grams                    Primera Mango Flavocol
1 ½ cups or 300 grams         Water
1 pc                                     Orange, medium-sized 

For Buko Pandan Jelly
1 pack or 90 grams                Ferna Jelly Gulaman Powder Buko Pandan
1 ½ cups or 300 grams          Water
1 pc                                      Orange, medium-sized 

For Strawberry Jelly
1 pack or 90 grams                Ferna Jelly Gulaman Powder Strawberry
1 ½ cups or 300 grams          Water
1 pc                                      Orange, medium-sized

PROCEDURE:

1. Slice the oranges horizontally in half. Carefully remove the pulp and remaining pith of the orange. Be careful not to damage the rind.
2. Set each half rind upright in a muffin pan or any available container that will hold the oranges upright.
3. In a small pot or a sauce pan, dissolve the jelly powder in water. Add mango flavocol and mix until evenly dispersed.
4. Place the small pot or sauce pan over medium heat and bring to a boil while stirring continuously.
5. Pour and divide the mixture evenly into the 2 orange slices.
6. Chill or leave at room temperature for 25 minutes until the jelly completely sets.
7. When the jelly sets, cut each half-orange into three wedges using a sharp knife.
8. Repeat the procedure for the remaining flavors and serve.
